This is not the first time that this so called pundit has disparaged Black women.
It is not he first time he has been culturally insensitive and if not shown to be a horrible bigot.
I used to listen to him years ago, during the Clinton Administration. Don Imus could be witty and informative. I used to laugh when he made fun of politicians. But several remarks made by his minion Bernard McQuirk about Black women upset me. They were heinous and ugly and I decided that I could not listen to The Imus any more. Especially when Imus moved to a Boston FM station populated by rabid racist conservative talk show hosts. DONE.
But this last comment, calling female college athletes 'hos' and nappy headed ho's at that. He has gone beyond the pale. Um, yeah.

Holy shit!! I had no idea. But I will echo that "Oh no he didn't!" Dang. He's one messed up puppy. If you get a crack at his ugly ol' a$$, I'm selling tickets. ;-)

I heard Imus got censored or canned due to racist remarks, but I didn't know the details until now. I just cannot believe this $h!+. I will joint that a$$ kicking party.

I heard about this when it went down and really, I just sat their in disbelief. Did he really just say that??? On air????? For a national audience??????? As much as I'd like to not believe it, I know that there are people that do hold those ugly beliefs. But having those beliefs uttered out in public for anyone to have heard... well, that is shocking.
I read Gwen Ifill's OpEd piece in the New York Times yesterday, and that respected journalist wrote about her run-in with that man. Clearly the man has issues. Ugly issues.
