I am sorry. I have been terrible at this lately. Hopefully with some sunny weather all my woes will wash away and I will have some photos to show you.
I have had a stiff neck for over a week now. We had a minor sudden stop sort of accident and I wasn't wearing my seat belt ( Naughty I know, but I thought we were about to park). Then the next day my husband was hospitalized, so it hasn't been a bed of roses at Chez Hammer. But I will be working on a catch up post over the next day or so.
OKC - I have been working on my Dulann sweaters. I have been 'looping 2 little sleeves at once ! One of the sweaters is a lovely dark green tweed of unknown origin from my stash. The other is red Dale Sisik. I love this stuff. I didn't know it at the time we had a lot of it at Circles, but in knitting a swatch for the store I feel in love. Yes, it has some "ackralak" in it, but it is soft and light. Just the thing for the sweater dresses I want sooooooooo much. Any hoo, I had thought that I should be careful with that red and green, too much like Christmas ! The next second it occurred to me that Xmas colors are not a major concern in Mongolia. Heh. The other Dulaan sweater is a Noro vest that grew into a sweater. Noro for a charity project, you might ask. Why yes mam ! I have Allison to thank for that and I will tell that little story in another post
