The Big Fifty

I am still feeling a little swamped. Moving is slow going, I am just starting to transfer the gas, electric, etc. The utilities were cut off in the apartment we are moving in to and it is hard to move things in the dark. But first a couple of pictures from my parents 50th wedding anniversary party. My brother has a Karate studio that was formally a restaurant. So when we want to have a shindig, he lets us transform it into Party Central.
Here is a picture of the cake ! My brother's best friend who will all grew up with is a pastry chef. He made us 5 different cakes one for each decade of my parents marriage. Note the gold braid. Nice Touch.



Here is my mother, far left, and her surviving bridesmaids ! Isn't my mom precious. Aren't these women FABULOUS !


Daddy, however, was camera shy and a little cranky. But he had a great time. These pictures are from my digital of course and are my first attempts to post with it. More pictures to come
