Wow ! It has been a while since I posted. But I am back from my vacation. Some people post when they are going and coming. I don't think I can be that dedicated. Besides, all ten of my readers usually know where I am except my new best friendNik , we only meet in visiting each others blogs.
I was in Wellfleet where my in-laws have a B&B/Gallery, Herring River Gallery and Guests. My in-laws went to Italy and we had the place to ourselves, man it was great to get away. The lower cape is lovely this time of year. Lot's of places are still open, but not too crowded. And the beaches were wonderous, lots of waves as a result of the hurricane. I didn't take any pictures, but here are some I took last spring, showing in and outside of the cottage (featuring my father in-laws art) and around the yard with little Beau, a kitty we had rescued and left with my in-laws. He now has a job as gallery cat.

Oooh, it looks and sounds wonderful! One of my favorite places to visit is the Cape. I hope to get there in October, near our wedding anniversary. :)
It DOES sound wonderful. I just returned from the beach here in NC and it was wonderful. Glad you had a good time.
You should go to Cape, it can be great this time of year !
