FO

Here I am wearing my top down Bamboo T.
Done in "Parrot" in Bamboo Yarn by Southwest. It was simply fabulous to knit and wonderful to wear. It is a variation of the Merino T in the Winter 2003 IK.
The Variations includes shortrows for "the Boys" O see how shapely! And alas, having fallen off the WW wagon, there are increases every fourth row or so. I have to credit Girlfriend Dosha for this. She started making one in the Tequila color (Think Sunrise, Yum !)And had asked me to help her with the gauge measurements. I thought she was sightly mad to attempt it, and I was proven right, because she was obsessed with the "knitability" of this yarn, SHE COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. She was up all hours knitting it and was done in no time. Several of us at
are making them and of course we have a full complement of the colors there. I intend to make several of these.
I am working on one in an hand dyed silk/merino for Oak Grove that will make you drool. Seriously.
Forgive the shifting fonts. I am working my way through this. blogging stuff.

I was trying to add in this little Nanny. Isn't she divine ? I wanted to have her as background for the header on this blog and in attempting it, erases all my links and stuff. Oh Gina ? Dani ? Knitting Wendy #1 ?
(in my book) she's my sista in da' hood href="http://thebookishgirl.blogspot.com"> Roslndale REPRESENT !
