Here are the little caps that I sent to Save the Children
These 2 caps came from a single skien of Karaoke by South West. The colors are wonderful.
I wanted to practice my Fair Isle. I am not likely to ever make a traditional Fair Isle garment, but I love that Estonian Braid !
This yarn was just in the stash, the multicolored trim was a little ball acquired at a swap.

Those are great. What a great way to try out a new technique. Try it something small so the pain of frogging when I screw up (and I will) isn't so great.
Yay! That trim yarn came from me! SO glad to see it go to a good cause.
You have totally inspired me to do more charity knitting - I sent stuff off to Rabbitch for her hat project, my Red Scarf project scarf is waiting to be blocked and mailed, and I'm knitting some of my stash up Duulan as soon as I finish the shawl I'm working on. Thanks for the inspiration!
The hats all look fabulous!
Love the hats, especially the braided edge ones. I'll have to try that technique some time.
You did inspire me to knock out a small baby hat on Monday at Circles for the charity knit-in. Added that and a sweater and a vest to the pile. -Rebecca
