Things proceed apace

Is apace or a pace. We'll get back to you on that one, dear readers.

I have 50 rows to go.

I was up at 5:40 am and knitting. I often awake at this time, but go back to sleep.
This morning I called for tea and grabbed my needles.

So for now, I will leave you with this little poem forwarded me to by my inlaws/ The Wellfleet Dems. I do not know who to attribute it to, but who ever it is, is a funny persom indded.

An Election Poem

The election is over,

the results are all known.

The will of the people

has clearly been shown.

So let's stop the quarreling,

let bitterness pass.

I'll hug your elephant,

You kiss my a$$.

Love the poem. And the shawl is looking gorgeous - I really love that color. You can do it! -Rebecca H.

I'm glad it was forwarded to you, because there's a jarring disconnect between the last line and the one it rhymes with

I often wake up between 4 and 5 and have trouble getting back to sleep -- but I know I need my sleep or I'll be sleeping at work sometime between 2 and 3
