Here I am at Rhinebeck in the Castaway Sweater, completed in alternating strands of Andy's Merino and Lumpy Bumpy from Farmhouse Yarn. Carol Martin of Farmhouse came to Circles last Sunday for a Trunk Show with her fabulous yarns and really seemed to like it. She was going to go home and pull out her copy of Loop d'loop and cast on to make one herself.

That sweater rocks! It's truly gorgeous, and it suits you so well. I've admired that sweater from when I first received the book, but knew that I would probably never make it! The required yarn is just too expensive. I like that you achieved the same effect with a sub yarn. kudos to you!
