Last weekend at Circles, not only did we have a surprise sale, we also had a trunk show of Farmhouse Yarns. Carol Martin came in with her beautiful yarns and I got this....
Isn't it glorious ? There are 2 different types of Farm House yarn. One is called Lumby Bumpy and I had got each yarn at different times, the lastest was purchased last Saturday.
I can't wait to start the project I have in mind, a big cowled and fringed sweater from Loop Di Loop. I am coveting at least 4 sweaters from this book, including what I consider my late summer project. I swatched for it on Wednesday with some Crystal Palace Cotton Flame I have in my stash.
This clever pattern is made in one piece. I can't wait to try it. In addition to this color, the shirt will feature navy, white, and gray stripes. Why you may ask ? Because that's what is in the stash and this is a stash bustin project !
and finally a lil'teaser, as I spend part of my week fringin'....
... and fine tunin'
Do you know what the last pictures are ?
Marvin does and he's not telling.
Stay tuned.

Yes! That damn Jaeger cardigan. Mine is so dull when compared to yours.
Good to know I'm not the only one who succumbed to the siren call of the Farmhouse Yarns.
I don't know what it is, but the colors are incredible! :)
That looks like a FINE-LY installed zipper to me, my dear.
Damn fine.
