This is my surprise project for the Black Purl Exchange.
Since the recipient is a stranger and I know just about every one who reads this blog (If we haven't met, say howdy !) there is no danger in showing this little bit of Clove Stitch, which I believe will become a neck kerchief thingy. I will knit until the deadline and see what happens. The yarn is some hand dyed silk I picked up at the NHSW last year. I want to make a Flower Basket Shawl for myself with the remainder.
But I have to get through FO February first. I am not doing so well. Hopefully I can devote myself to knitting on Monday, which is a day off for me.
Man, I want to finish my Maxwell Jacket !

I got back to work on mittens, have 1 thumb done now (as well as both hands down to the thumb) -- will try to post some pix of which I have a long backlog
Oh, and I liked reading the soup recipe too
