OKC

Well, this blog was to feature a bit of knitting, and so let's get on with it. Here is some charity knitting that was donated by me and KDay to an orphanage in Russia earlier in the year. KDay is one of the Varigators. That what we call each other in the Variegations group, a Yahoo group that have been knitting and chatting with each other for a few years now. This is also how I met Helen and Gina (See links) KDay is one of the most productive knitter you will ever meet and when the call goes out for charity donations she will whip out a half dozen or so items to keep little hands and feet warm in a blink of an eye. Oh did I mention that she is awfully nice ? Kday made all the green and yellow socks and mittens. I made the Kelly green poncho in Tahki Donegal tweed and the tiny baby sweater in some 'antique' Spinnerin boucle. The bright blue and red hats were picked up for a buck each at Marshalls.
